Not in an ad network. Not in a big-tech cloud. On machines Pivot Wellness owns and operates — which changes what's possible, and what we can promise. This is the whole story, said plainly.
A privacy policy is a promise you have to trust. These are built into how Pivot Wellness is put together — which is a different, sturdier kind of promise.
Your data is not a revenue line. There are no data brokers in the pipeline, no advertisers, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics scripts loading in the background.
Pivot Wellness makes money one honest way — memberships and the services that attach to them. When the business model isn't "sell attention," there's nothing to sell you out to.
The AI that reads your record runs on GPUs Pivot Wellness owns. Your labs, sleep, notes, and history never leave those machines to make an outside company's product smarter.
No OpenAI, no Anthropic, no Google API sits between you and an answer. There's no data-sharing agreement to read, because there's no third party to share it with.
"Your record" is a fact, not a slogan. Take a full copy whenever you want — a complete, structured export in open, standard formats you can actually open and use elsewhere.
No support ticket, no waiting period, no watered-down "summary." The real data, all of it, on your terms.
Deleting your account actually removes your data — from the record store and from backups on a documented schedule — not a hidden "deactivated" flag that keeps everything on file.
The process is written down, and it's verifiable. No dark patterns, no maze of confirmation screens designed to make you give up.
Most health apps rent someone else's cloud and call third-party AI APIs. That means your data goes somewhere else to be useful. Pivot Wellness runs on its own machines — so it doesn't have to.
Because we own the racks, the marginal cost of a free member is electricity and GPU time we've already paid for. Paid members fund the hardware; free members ride the slack. Nobody's attention gets sold to close the gap.
The plain-language version of how your record is protected on the machines that hold it.
Your record and its backups are encrypted on disk. A stolen drive is unreadable noise.
Every access to record data is logged and reviewable. "Who touched this" has an answer.
Inference runs on our GPUs. Your data never leaves the racks to reach an outside model.
Analytics are self-hosted and cookieless. No ad-network beacons, no cross-site trackers.
Only you — and any expert you explicitly invite — can see your record. Invitations are revocable.
Full export in standard formats, and real deletion, on a documented, verifiable schedule.
Pivot Wellness is a consumer wellness platform you populate yourself — you connect your sources, and the intelligence works over what you bring. We want to be exact about what that means, because vague privacy claims are how trust gets broken.
The consumer product is not a HIPAA-covered entity, and we won't imply otherwise to sound more official. What we do commit to is simpler and, we think, stronger: your data lives on hardware we own, it is never sold, it never trains anyone else's models, and you own and control it — export it or delete it whenever you choose.
Where Pivot Wellness connects to clinical systems (like health records via SMART on FHIR) or where a coached tier brings a licensed professional into the loop, the appropriate protections and agreements apply to those specific relationships. We'd rather tell you exactly where each line is than paint over all of it with one reassuring word.
